Although scanned or other created pointclouds often include color or pseudocolor information and we can pass that to a mesh - it is often better to project an image onto the points or SEQUOIA generated mesh.

As an example - you may have access to scan a location at a different time than you want it textured, or the lighting changes over the course of a scan day, or you need to add or enhance or change the images separate from the scan.

The first video demonstrates image alignment tools in SEQUOIA to align a photograph taken from a different perspective than the scan. The second video will demonstrate the ability to add multiple textures to fill in missing projections [to come later]
